Chiropractors meet national and exceed international
standards.
•The
degree course:
•
Intensive training in
Life Sciences, Radiology, Neurology, Pathology,
Biomechanics, Orthopaedics, Clinical Medicine and
Differential Diagnosis.
•Professional
Regulation
•Medical
Practitioners and Dentists are registered with
the GMC and regulated by law.
•
•In
the same way, Chiropractors are registered with
the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and
regulated by Law under the Chiropractors Act
1994.
•
•The
title 'Chiropractor' is protected under this
legislation and it is illegal to practise as a
Chiropractor without being registered with the
GCC.
•
•Chiropractors
can only be registered if they have the
appropriate qualifications, are of good
character and are fit to practice.
